DescriptionThe 2014 Classical Grand Concert Renaissance Museum Dreamcatcher guitar is a cutaway guitar, all hand-made with custom inlay work including some of Albuquerque's iconography such as a balloon, the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande, as well as traditional elements used by the Pimentel family, such as a sun symbol (customized into a square sun inscribed ABQ) and their father's 'Santuario' design around the sound hole and the bridge, and an open work dreamcatcher design in the sound hole. Made between October 2013 and June 2014.

Made by Rick, Robert, and Victor Pimentel of Pimentel & Sons in memory of their brother Augustin with an innovative honeycomb bracing system for the guitar and unique to their company. The guitar comes with a hard-shell guitar case (PC2014.10.2).
